Network Tooling Engineer is to provide technical support on network management and automation systems as well as improve network operations within customer environments following ITIL/DevOps principles.

 

What will you do:

 

  • implementing standard and non-standard solutions in the network management and automations systems
  • presenting and consulting with internal and external technical counterparts
  • management of system performance, capacity, service quality
  • active participation in projects
  • regular maintenance and development of already existing systems

Technology:

 

  • Network knowledge (CCNA level or equivalent)
  • Python
  • Linux / Unix OS
  • GIT / SVN / GitHub

 

Skills:

 

  • Software development & software security awareness
  • Willingness to learn and develop in multidisciplinary scope (networks, cloud & BigData)
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Methodical and disciplined approach to work
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Software management solutions
  • Understanding of data management (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elastic stack)
  • Experience in integration between different products and frameworks (ServiceNow, Meraki, APIGEE, Micro-focus NA) using API's like: REST, JDBC, etc
  • Application support and application lifecycle management
  • Experience in automation of network operations (SNMP, CLI, NetConf, Amon, Ansible, etc.)
  • Knowledge of network solutions (VIPTELLA, MERAKI, MIST, etc)
  • Knowledge about AI & ML & BigData
  • English B1/B2

 

Nice to have:

 

  • C# / .Net / Groovie knowledge
  • Ability to read code in .net or java will be a plus
  • Containerization with Docker or Kubernetes
