The R&D Development Manager has the overall responsibility to develop and hand-over to operations end-to-end services & products that can be delivered by operations to the best level of quality and performance – Support R&D program develop & maintain in a timely manner products & services via established external and internal frameworks (Agile, OLM, GxM) – Support R&D projects to provide the resources required (staffing, tools, processes…) – Define and maintain DWP procedures and techniques for delivery readiness including delivery model, tooling, automation, procurement, finance, security, migration, testing… – Ensure that each product or feature being hand-over to operations is compliant with expected delivery readiness – Collaborate with tribes in an agile way to anticipate delivery readiness requirements and feed R&D plan with corrective tasks – Maintain a risk assessment per offering (security, cost model…) – Continuously challenge the tribes on the opportunities to enhance the end-to-end service with a focus on automation and data analytics – Ensure products and services are developed in line with legal and compliance framework requirements (e.g. GDPR, SOX, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS etc.) as per Group Security policy – Maintain delivery readiness dashboard for DWP stakeholders – Ensure the maintenance of artefacts repository, source code management and versioning control, release management process This role is critical for success of Digital Workplace Service Development program and for winning new DWP business.
