As a (mid or senior) Application Administrator you will become a member of a department of ~150 people administrating applications and applications servers in the Linux/Windows/Cloud environments. You will join one of our teams (4-8 people) providing services to small and large customers from Western Europe in various sectors: Resources & Services, Public Sector & Defense, Telecom, Media & Technology, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Insurance.

 

In our team you might work remotely and/or in a hybrid mode with the flexible approach to your starting hours (between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.).

You will have an opportunity to grow in one (or more) of the following technologies: Linux, Windows, Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat, Apache, Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Scripting, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, EBS, MSSQL, Documentum, Terraform, Azure, AWS, GCP etc.

Your responsibilities

  • Administrate, maintain, and support business & custom Linux/ Windows servers and Web applications

  • Handle infrastructure issues

  • Deploy, patch, manage and maintain of Linux/ Windows servers (including on-calls)

  • Participate in projects and transitions to gain new clients

 

Our requirements

  • Experience in Server Administration (Windows, Linux) and administration of webservers and/or Java server

  • B1 level of spoken and written English

  • Team Player

 

      Optional 

  • Previous experience in scripting plus programming skills (Bash, Powershell, Python)

  • Hands-on experience in automation (preferably Puppet) and containerization (preferably Docker)

  • GitLab CI/CD and version control systems (preferably Git)

  • Already working with web frameworks (preferably Ruby on Rails)
