What are we looking for:

The Pre-Sales Analyst is responsible for the test and review of global service specific cost models. The Analyst will coach and support cost model owners in implementing content into their models as well as offering support for the usage and functionality of the Global Costing and Pricing Tool.

The Analyst has at least 1 year of experience in the IT outsourcing services business and he has a good understanding of portfolio services and solutions. He has knowledge of IT services pricing, pricing structures and its components and is able to create new price units together with the Technical Solution experts.

Summary of Activities

  • Understand functional requirements of the Costing Tool, create possible use cases, and execute tests
  • Analyse results, record test cases and open change requests
  • Produce reporting for test progress
  • Test and Review new/updated cost models
  • Offer support for the usage and functionalities of cost models and the global costing and pricing tool
  • Support cost model owners (solution architects/financial architects in implementing content into their cost models)
  • Develop new cost models in close collaboration with Solution Architects / Product Managers
  • Create new prices, in coordination with Solution architects, using the existing service specific cost model templates

Key Strengths:

  • Analytical skills
  • Experience in testing data consistency and functionality of tool environment
  • Good technical knowledge and experience in IT outsourcing services and solutions (3-5 years)
  • Understanding of IT services market prices, understanding of the key price driver, pricing structure of IT services and its components (3-5 years)
  • Team Working, Interpersonal and Communication skills, especially in a multi-cultural environment
  • Intercultural awareness
  • Creative thinking
  • Languages: English required; German or French it’s a plus
  • Excel Advanced
