The opportunity

We are looking for motivated forward-thinking Service Architects to join our team!



  • Building positive relationships with the IT and business customers.

  • Work with the Client/SDM to help design/deliver/improve application management services into the customer and account to ensure SLAs are met/exceeded.

  • Build understanding of strategies and business context of the applications.

  • Portfolio management – taking a broad view and on an application by application basis helping to review the portfolio with the aim of finding opportunities for application merges, better licensing deals, combining of 4th line support contracts and other improvements.

  • Find opportunities to digitise and modernise – manage the requirements around presenting benefits to customer, evangelise on benefits of change, for example customer experience, cloud, AI, automation, data led decisions.

  • Helping the SDM build and manage a forward scheduled of change for application changes, and where required liaising with the customer and other partner organisations.

  • Work with the Atos off-shore team to plan, prioritise, deliver, test and communicate change.


Skills and experience required:

  • You will be required to undertake and successfully gain SC level security clearance.

  • Stakeholder management at all levels.

  • Service delivery mindset.

  • Knowledge of service designs, management and improvement opportunities.

  • Experience of portfolio management improvement.

  • Passion for customer service.

  • Interest in health provision and delivery mechanisms.

  • Experience working with off-shore teams.

  • ITIL qualified.

  • Application Service delivery experience.

  • Skills and interests in digital technologies –Cloud, AI, automation, blockchain etc.

  • Strategic perspective. Sees the big picture, for example considers applications and new solutions within the context of the business objective including process, tools and governance.

  • Gravitas to present ideas to senior audience.
