The opportunity

The MI & Analytics team is part of the growing Atos BPS Ltd business within the global Atos group and is responsible for supporting the business by ensuring that there is a clear and accurate view of performance alongside access to high quality analytical support in order to inform the business decision making process.

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Consultant to join our team! The team consists of Data & Reporting Developers, responsible for the interrogation, transformation and extraction of our data and Analytics Consultants.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating and developing our reporting suite and turning our data into meaningful and value adding operational intelligence.

  • You will be expected to take a lead role on key aspects within the team such as complex work, priority management, large projects, mentoring and developing junior members of the team and working with peers and partners to develop the direction and overall strategy of the team.

  • Responsible for producing a regular suite of reports, analysing and monitoring trends & root causes. You will also produce powerful pieces of ad-hoc analysis to influence & support the business decision making process, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity along with subsequent recommendations. You will also provide expert analytical support to business wide projects.

  • Forge strong relationships with key business partners such as Heads of Functions and Department Managers and utilise these to drive optimisation of our MI offering. You will regularly attend and present at partner meetings, often in key local decision making forums, delivering analytical intelligence and recommendations whilst providing an appropriate level of challenge.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of working within an analysis/insight function.

  • Solid understanding and practical use of analytical & statistical techniques i.e. modelling (correlation, regression etc).

  • Advanced user in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience of query writing (SQL, SAS, R or similar).

  • Experience of BI/Visualisation tools (i.e. Power BI or similar).

  • Experienced in working with large, complex datasets.

  • High degree of attention to detail.

  • Inquisitive and logical mind with an aptitude for problem solving.

  • Demonstrable ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with partners at all levels.

  • Excellent presentation skills (visual and verbal).

  • Proven ability to manage workload and time effectively in a fast paced environment, and lead on large scale projects.

  • Ability to lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
