The opportunity

In this role you will be required to define, articulate and handle the key controls across Atos BPS IT & Change. This will involve policy planning, supervising activities, project audits, governance reporting and quality assurance processes. This role is key to articulating and putting in place a rigorous ITCF regime which supports the BPS business maintaining an overall ‘in control’ position from an ITCF perspective around the BPS IT infrastructure, security and environments.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Drive the delivery of an IT Controls Framework, develop and maintain a single view of all key controls across Atos BPS IT & Change
  • Develop and maintain policy adherence and drive the completion of all associated actions to ensure adherence, advancing where appropriate
  • Plan required activity to ensure a continual ‘front foot’ position re policy and framework updates and ongoing adherence
  • Active management of the IT & Change risk management regime, including RCSA, TDRR, ITCF and ongoing policy adherence
  • Provision of current position MI re IT & Change risks and mitigating actions and provision of Account level RAID oversight
  • Execution of Project Audits and Delivery of Governance Reporting
  • Provision of Quality Assurance services

 

Skills we cannot do without:

Experience of creating and handling an overall IT & Change control management environment with extensive experience of IT Controls, coupled with experience of leading challenges to the robustness of testing / evidence regimes

Experience of defining and handling within IT governance frameworks and executing policy planning

Excellent interpersonal skills, working as part of a team with both internal and external partners. Able to operate in an outspoken manner in order to influence and challenge partners at all levels to deliver an effective control regime is always in place

Self-sufficient and forward looking/planning

 

Skills we’d like:

Previous experience leading a control management function and experience of working within PMO/a PMO environment

Strong communication, problem-solving skills and ability to work with others to identify areas for improvement and simplify processes - using technology where possible - to increase efficiency and enhance the customer service
