The opportunity

We are looking for a Performance Test Consultant to join our team and help us deliver digital transformation! If you are a motivated forward-thinking person, who loves working in a fast-paced environment on a wide range or projects, then, read below.



  • Delivering performance testing services for client projects. This can range from setting up performance test strategies and tools for specific client projects, to testing in-house developed applications, through to conducting evaluations of third party suppliers’ performance testing capabilities.
  • Delivering other non-functional testing services for client projects, such as load/stress/volume testing.
  • Evaluation of current performance test environments and tools used by Atos clients, then implementing changes where improvements are needed.
  • Providing performance/non-functional engineering advisory services to client projects during the requirements capture or design stages.


The work is expected to be technically complex and requires well-established hands-on specialist skills. Preferred tools are Neoload and JMeter. Other open source or proprietary tools may be used; therefore, technical flexibility and versatility are key to this role.


Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Experience of delivering performance and other non-functional testing for large scale complex projects as well as mobile applications.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments is essential.
  • Experience of open source performance test tools.
  • Of particular interest will also be experience working with data warehousing systems and/or GIS systems.


The role is for a highly technical specialist who is capable of working independently to deliver a professional and high quality service


Qualifications needed: Neoload certification, or alternatively other well-established performance testing tools certification may be suitable.


Qualifications needed: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.


Knowledge required:

  • Performance testing using Neoload and JMeter.
  • Open source test tools.
  • Agile methodology.
  • Test automation.


Specific experience and skills

At least two of the following: performance testing of cloud applications, mobile applications; web portal; data warehousing/big data.

Technical skills should only be mentioned on a CV if in-depth and hands-on and if the candidate is willing to undergo tests to demonstrate his/her skills.
