The opportunity
We are looking for a Digital Security & MCS Delivery Manager to join our team. 

This role includes managing the successful project delivery from pre-sales/sales handover through to Acceptance into Service within the agreed project timescales, scope and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and manage UK or near/off-shore BDS resources (where budget allows) to deliver to agreed project scope as per the baseline. Where requirements may be ambiguous or variable change and claim control to be justified and initiated. 

  • Identifying BDS scope and tasks to ensure a successful delivery.

  • Effective management of risk, issue, change, dependencies and contingency, to mitigate against uncertainty. 

  • Implementing applicable standards and agreeing a common approach with key stakeholders. 

  • Ensuring changes to configuration are maintained, documented and controlled throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively proposing process and performance improvements from project related measures and information.

  • Conducting and provisioning of complete budget analysis from BOM, MAIA and PBM to define budgets on WebCIP

  • BDS Financial Controls implemented and tracked through the use of WebCIP or BDS preferred methodologies. 

  • Project Management and Reporting using PARMA or alternative agreed mechanisms and tools as required by stakeholders and client organisations

  • Travel may be required to client or Atos locations 


Minimum criteria

  • Recognized security/Project management qualifications (CISM, ITIL, Prince 2) etc.

  • Project Management professional with proven experience in commercial, public or industrial sectors

  • Ability and willingness to obtain security clearance to SC/DV levels

  • Solid IT and security skills

  • Demonstrated communication and customer management skills in order to maintain positive customer relations.

  • Demonstrated dedication to customer satisfaction.

  • Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills.

 

Desirable criteria:

  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience preferred.

  • Awareness of UK government protective marking standards.

  • Awareness of industry standards – PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GPG 13 etc.

  • Experience in managing deployments of some of the following:

    • SIEM – Security information and event management;

    • IAM – Identity and access management;

    • APT – Advanced Persistent threat detection;

    • DLP – Data loss prevention;

    • VA – Vulnerability Analysis and mitigation;

    • PKI – Public key infrastructure.

  • Secure networks.

  • Server hardening.

  • Securing virtual environments.

  • Security auditing and operational controls.

  • Security auditing and technical controls.

  • Demonstrable team player ethos with a genuine interest in people. Understands and encourages improvement in the teams behavior where required. Challenges problems, is aware of people motivators and de-motivators.

  • Proactively requests feedback to identify personal development opportunities and takes appropriate action to act. Takes time to reflect on personal behavior and actions and is able to recognize personal strengths and weaknesses.

  • Typically educated to university level (e.g. Bachelor or Master). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
