The role involves:

  • Reviewing SME applications and identifying SMEs who are a good fit for the programme
  • Working with the marketing lead to support SME Horizons activities
  • Sales monitoring – reviewing the Horizons sales opportunities and supporting the sales leads in developing these opportunities
  • Promoting the SMEs, their products and their reputation internally
  • Working with procurement and alliances departments internally to support the onboarding of the new SMEs
  • Stakeholder management – up to and including board level
  • Spreading awareness of the Programme, promoting the Programme to internal stakeholders


Applicants should possess:

  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to build rapport with people, and to maintain strong working relationships
  • Interested in new and upcoming technology and the SME market
  • Interest in the sales process and supporting the identification of new opportunities
  • Ability to identify which customers might benefit from an SMEs product, and to explain why to internal stakeholders
  • Drive to learn about new technologies and/or to build a career in sales or partner management
  • Interest in public sector trends and customers
