Athens Center of Excellence is seeking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.




Education & Profile


  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in the customs domain
  • Advanced knowhow in business/functional analysis and modelling using BPMN (CMMN and DMN as a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (ex. Camunda/Flowable)
  • Solid experience on use-cases/requirements/features specification
  • Experience as Product Owner on Agile/Scrim product development teams
  • Experience with documentation and generation tools (ex. GitHub markdown, Sphinx)
  • Solid understanding of markup languages and data interchange formats (ex. XML/XSD, JSON)
  • Exposure to UI/UX wireframing tools (ex. Balsmaiq)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English




  • Detailed specification of complex datasets, preparation, and maintenance of the related XSD files meeting the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
    • Management of requirements and specifications, standard user manuals and training materials
    • Preparation and maintenance of standard system configurations: workflows, rules, reference data
    • Preparation and maintenance of end-to-end scenarios & data to be used for testing, demo and training purposes
  • Management and prioritization of the team’s backlog
  • Liaison between product/business and development team
