Big Data & Security North American Cyber Security Division of Atos is currently looking for a Security Manager to join their team and be a part of an engineering team responsible for delivering the Atos Digital Security solutions to customers across North America.


Job Description

As the Security Operations Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of operations engineers supporting a wide range of customer environments.  The team manages security appliances/tools ranging from perimeter protection to endpoint and vulnerability management systems. The types of systems are IPS, NGFW, Web Proxy, NAC, DLP, EDR, SIEM, Remote Access, etc.  The manager is responsible for ensuring the team manages the security tools and modifies security configurations and/or policies to ensure Atos customer data is proactively protected.  


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of engineers on the front lines of Security who have been tasked with delivering Security detection, response, and support
  • Motivate and empower your entire team to reach their goals
  • Oversee security system upgrades and patching
  • Ensure on-call support coverage is intact (on-call rotation)
  • Inspire confidence by setting direction, displaying integrity, and moving toward team goals
  • Develop relationships across the entire organization
  • Monitor, develop and drive key metrics that ensure the quality of our services
  • Build a diverse team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment



Minimum Qualifications


  • Must have a background with hands on experience managing and supporting a wide variety of security tools such as (IPS, NGFW, Web Proxy, NAC, DLP, EDR, SIEM, Remote Access)
  • Experience supporting cloud migration and support of cloud native security services
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 8 years Cyber Security Experience



One or more certifications desired but not required: CISSP, CISM, GSEC
