Your role at Atos

You create value by capturing real-time data with the OSIsoft PI technology, in Process Information Management Systems (PIMS). You will be working with clients, consultants, systems architects, analysts, factory operators to understand their needs. You are able to design, implement, integrate, configure and operate OSIsoft PI based solutions to help clients to improve their manufacturing operations through the integration of PIMS and implementing the technology solutions.

What we are looking for

You know the typical processes in a production environment, so you are perfectly able to integrate and connect the PIMS solutions to these production processes. You also understand the specific information exchange

between DCS, Scada and PIMS. You have preferably gained this knowledge and experience by performing multiple PIMS implementations based on OSIsoft PI. As a result, you are well acquainted with the details and project phases of a PIMS implementation project and the specific preconditions for a PIMS project to run successfully. All this ensures that operators and managers in a factory environment see you as a fully-fledged partner who’s knows how to convert their need for data in a reliable and solid PIMS.

 

Is this you?

· WO/HBO level, with a technical education (control engineering, industrial engineering, technical business administration, mechanical engineering, chemical technology, technical physics in combination with a computer science component as a major or minor)

· At least 5 years proven experience as an OSIsoft PI engineer;

· Solid understanding of OSIsoft PI products, knowledge of other standard PIMS packages such as: AspenTech IP21, Rockwell, etc., is optional.

· Familiar with modern methodologies / techniques (BPMN, TOGAF / Archimate, MESA, ISA-95, ISA-88, etc.);

· A good knowledge of the Manufacturing domain;

· Creative, analytical, and accurate

· Able to work independently and as part of a team, depending upon project scope at customers locations, mainly across the Netherlands and occasionally abroad.

· Strong knowledge of both Dutch and English language.
