Digital Workplace Engineer

In the Dutch Technical Services practice we work for the big international companies in The Netherlands in a wide variety of branches and different technological challenges. We have an Agile philosophy and so do our clients, so you will be working in Scrum teams or DevOps teams. Depending on the assignment you will be working at the customer location, the Atos Office (in Amstelveen, Groningen or Eindhoven) or remote from your home office. Our assignments normally are between 6 and 24 months. 

 

The role  

As a Digital Workplace engineer, you will be working in the various landscapes of our customers. Most customers are now having hybrid environments and are increasingly investing in new technologies that also support mobile and BYO devices. You will be part of this in configuring, migrating and maintaining these landscapes. This can be on-site, in projects or remote. Your focus is on continuous improvement and automation, using state of the art tooling. Working in an Agile/Scrum or DevOps team is nothing new for you anymore.

You’re a fast learner and self-supporting, but you’re also a great teammate, easy-going and communicative. You quickly understand the needs of your client and connect easily with him/her. Because the scope of activities, knowledge and skills are still developing fast you are also interested in technologies and topics (like security) next to your specialism. You are results-oriented and want to grow toward roles like architecture.

Besides your personal skills and passion for technology, we have a few must have requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, Windows 10 and Azure Fundamentals/Administrator, Powershell scripting
  • Experience in the area of Collaboration (Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive), Distribution (SCCM, SCCP), Authentication, User Administration (AD).
  • Experience and knowledge of technology like Citrix XenApp, VMWare
  • Experience with Service Management Tooling like Service Now, Topdesk, Remedy.
  • Affinity with Security: policies, firewalls, vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with Agile working (Scrum/SAFe/DevOps)
  • You are currently living in The Netherlands and have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal
