Your role as an Azure Application Transformation Architect @Atos

We are looking for an Azure Application Transformation Architect to work on internal and customer projects for a broad variety of clients worldwide. This position provides you with autonomy, flexibility and of course enough challenges to learn and develop your professional as well your personal skills. Your work location will be at one of our offices in the Netherlands or at a customer site.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Being part of an energetic and experienced team that modernizes, designs and build cloud native applications based on project specifications and client requirements
  • Work with customers throughout the whole modernization journey, providing comprehensive support to transform and evolve their application portfolios via native cloud development from strategy, to implementation to operations
  • Redefining legacy applications using modern secure software development methods with a set of proven DevSecOps practices to build the right environment to rapidly launch new services to customers

Skills we'd like you to have:

  • Experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer executives to drive cloud deployment
  • Deep understanding and experience in working with Azure Public Cloud environments
  • Working knowledge with Application Lifecycle Management and technical experience with one of the following scripting and programming languages: Terraform, ARM, Json, Python, PowerShell
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of containers and container platforms
  • Deep understanding of DevOps, automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts & ensuring follow-up
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within software & services company
  • Takes ownership and commitment, has an open mind and positive attitude
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Preferred language Dutch, English business fluent
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant professional qualification
