Your role as Agile Coach at Atos


As an Agile Coach you help the organization and/or the development teams with applying the right framework and working closely together with the Product Owners. You will support teams and individuals by mentoring, holding workshops and giving feedback. You will challenge and support the Product Owner and the Team Lead on practices such as effective backlog management, prioritization, handling technical debt, etc. In addition, you will collaborate with (the) Scrum team(s) to enable them to become self-organizing and high performing

Key responsibilities:


  • Facilitates and coaches the using Agile practices (mind-set) and principles to deliver value to their customers.
  • Identify training needs and conduct the training as needed with the help of training team. Provide learning and mentoring opportunities to teams.
  • Apply change management to leadthe teams to (digital) changes.
  • Guides the organization and teams to a high performing level through the recognition of areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques. #LI-Netherlands
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Coaches the Scrum Teams in self-organization, developing a T-shaped skillset and industry knowledge.
  • Increases the efficiency of Scrum by removing team impediments with Scrum Masters in the organization.
  • Actively contributes to the progression and enhancement of Agile practices
  • Safeguards the Scrum Team(s) from external interruption to make sure the Scrum Team continues focusing on the Sprint Goal.
  • Acting as a communication channel between the teams, Product Owner, and Business stakeholders
  • Supervise and evaluate any new program’s overall success in implementation, for example DevSecOps implementation in cross ops and determine improvement goals

  • Able to apply the most efficient coaching style.
  • Communicates effectively, both internally and externally, both IT and business
  • Able to cultivate a culture of trust and encouragement.
  • Demonstrates the use of listening skills and empathy.
  • Certificates such as Professional Scrum Master I / II / III and /or Certified SAFe 5 Agilist
  • Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer


Good to have additionally as skills:


  • Jira / Confluence/ Service Now/ Kanban/ Azure DevOps/ CI/CD
