About the role:

We are looking for an expert Account Director within the Manufacturing industry in the Netherlands, who will have the responsibility to drive sales growth into new and existing manufacturing accounts. Interested? Then come and join us!


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end sales activities from deal pipeline to offer sign-off for our clients, pulling through entire Atos portfolio and capability
  • Spot new sales opportunities for growth
  • Identify and influence decision makers, influencers and partners (internal and external) at CxO level – help to develop the Atos market presence in Manufacturing
  • Build value propositions and win strategies for all qualified opportunities
  • Lead business development campaigns within target accounts and lead Atos partners involved in the account management & bid process (e.g. marketing and product teams, offerings specialists, bid managers, alliance & partners etc.). Drive customers through the entire internal engagement sales processes and anticipate client demands
  • Maintain market, solution, portfolio and driven knowledge using Atos Manufacturing portfolio
  • Assist in defining account commercial strategy and account planning
  • Supervise the pre-sales phase, ensuring that suggested solutions are in line with client expectations and Atos standards (level of price, etc.) to improve customer happiness
  • Construct and reinforce high-impact relationships with customers & ensure client customer satisfaction
  • Pitch ideas to the customer, organize demonstrations of proof of concepts and assist bid teams in answers to bids and tenders
  • Use consumer insights to develop and launch sales campaigns or contribute to sophisticated tender documents
  • Review solutions and offer insights and analysis to solution teams to develop technology for clients and win new profitable business
  • Support and coach more junior members of the local Account Management Team


We expect you to bring:

  • Well established network and good understanding of the Manufacturing industry in the Netherlands
  • Responsible for opening new customers and new business opportunities with existing customers
  • Contribute and influence on the industry strategy, new logos plan and growth in the existing accounts
  • Confirmed experience in consultative selling for digital projects and services
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch is required

The role offers hybrid working model. Customers visits will be required.
