Job Description
The ideal person will be working in a global team involved in design, installation and maintenance of the MECM infrastructure as well as application and patch management. You will be a person that can adapt to team priorities and assist in all areas of the team’s roles depending on demand. Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced team members and will be responsible for the more complex administration duties and projects. You’ll predominantly be working US hours but may be occasionally required to work alternative shifts and be able to work on-call.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, install and maintain the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment and develop solutions. Assist the senior infrastructure engineer with overseeing, supporting, maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure.

• Manage the deployment of OS, application, and security patches to endpoints. Oversee monthly patch management activities and assist in identifying, evaluating and recommending patch management solutions, limiting impacts on business and achieving SLAs. Act as a point of escalation for the Patch Management team.

• Application publishing and deployment. Create, test and deploy software applications and packages for scheduled or on demand distribution and installation.

• Develop and maintain baseline configurations.

• Server and workstation client installation, health monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Assist team leader with audit enquiries and information gathering.

• Assist in defining and co-ordinating team projects and activities.

• Build complex and dynamic collections, queries and reports as required.

• Manage site boundaries, site systems, site roles, inter-site dependencies and communication.

• Collaborate with IT security, desktop, server, and network engineers to troubleshoot day to day operations.

• Responsible for providing outstanding customer and engineering support at an advanced technical level to peers.

• Apply new concepts, practices, technology and procedures and update technical documentation.

• Team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision

• Resolve incidents and requests within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Remain highly adaptable.

• Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolve issues or complete projects as needed.

Basic Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum four years' experience in: o Microsoft admin including later versions of MECM. o Experience with successful MECM upgrades and deployments and in support of complex distributed environments.

• Strong ability to solve complex technical issues.

• Experience with SQL databases, client-server concepts and IP fundamentals.

• Experience with endpoint security practices.

• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.

Powershell scripting and troubleshooting.

• ITIL Foundations knowledge
