Jr. Java Full Stack Developer – Entry Level

About the Position –

Atos is seeking recent university graduates to join our team as a Full Stack Developer. We provide a fast-paced, innovative, and casual environment designed to broaden a candidate's professional experiences while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment, and career development.

 

In this role, you’ll brings new insights to life building impactful solutions and experiences integrating state of the art technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute in the following ways:

  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Engage with customers to identify and resolve complex business problems.
  • Demonstrate solid grasp of software development lifecycle including Agile
  • Work closely with QA and integration team to resolve issues 
  • Interact with a diverse & global set of teams, including developers, business analysts, quality assurance, infrastructure, user communities, and senior management
  • Work in a small, self-reliant Scrum team
  • Introduction to Database
  • Introduction to Cloud

 

Technologies You’ll Learn Include -

  • Java, JavaScript, HTML
  • Developing new user-interface (UI) components
  • Web architecture
  • Understanding of REST based web services
  • Understanding of frontend development, like Angular

 

Minimum skills -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum GPA: 8.0
  • Proficient in English - spoken and written
  • Coursework or internship experience in at least one of the following:  Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services or Python
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously and as an active member of a team
  • Passion, resilience, and a positive demeanor
  • Enjoys solving sophisticated problems with code
  • Creative problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and propose solutions / alternatives

 

Preferred skills –

  • Education, internship, or personal experience in the following:
  • Experience with a modern Javascript framework (e.g. React/Angular/Vue, etc/)
  • Experience with JVM and/or Node.js based web server applications including interfacing other APIs and databases
  • Understanding of REST based web services
