I was working at the university and was investigating ways to further complete myself with a professional internship. I saw this vacancy within HR Iberia on the platform of employment in the university and decided to apply.
My internship is related to recruitment and HR in general. One of my major responsibilities is the hiring process of interns: interviewing and selecting new interns for Spain, talking to universities and taking care of the administration of this. Besides that, I’m supporting the HR Business Partner in taking care of the supporting process for people going abroad.
I like to be in touch with people, being a first contact for new employees and help them joining the company.
I am very happy in this role, and I would like to spend more time at Atos; I am possibly going to extend my internship with another 6 months. I like to be in touch with people, being a first contact for new employees and help them joining the company. I learned a lot in the area of recruitment and HR; I am now able to better understand people, deal with different (cultural) point of views and benefit from that.
Atos is a very nice company to work for: it is an international company and you can learn a lot from the many different cultures. Atos is a company of the future, focusing on technology and engineering, but also on the Olympic Games. I was able to work in groups and learn from my helpful colleagues. It gave me a sense of direction in where I would like to further develop in recruitment. An internship gives you the opportunity to learn, be creative and to make mistakes and learn from them.
